Project Details

This was one of two (2) projects secured by Alder through Construction Manager, Watpac, which formed part of the Federal Government’s Building the Education Revolution (BER) scheme, introduced due to the Global Financial Crisis.

The building has a two (2) storey building totalling approximately 800m2 in Gross Floor Area (GFA). The ground floor included a male and female amenities breezeway area, two classrooms and a pool plant filtration room. The second floor comprises of a resource centre, offices, media/video room, PWD toilet, general learning areas plus a glass infill balcony overlooking the existing pool. Additionally, there is a large 100,2 Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) that also overlooks the pool as well as an extensive network of covered ramps and walkways.

The design of the building is particularly striking and has a prominent street appeal. Works were completed and handed over to the school in September 2011.
