Project Details

This was on of two (2) projects secured by Alder through Construction Manager, Watpac, which formed part of the Federal Government’s Building the Education Revolution (BER) scheme, introduced due to the Global Financial Crisis.

The Resource Building is a single level building totalling approximately 1.130m2 in Gross Floor Area (GFA). The floor plate includes a large resource centre, offices, male, female & PWD amenities, 2 general learning areas, private function facilities, green room for filming and photography, staff room with kitchen as well as a small covered outdoor learning area.

Additionally to the above, Alder also extended an existing hall that included the construction of a large covered outdoor learning area comprising of a suspended modwood decking system, kitchen facilities for functions or events, store room as well as further toilets and amenities.

Works were completed and handed over to the school in May 2011.

  • Feature CFC and metal wall cladding
  • Mechanical louvres for the ventilation system
  • Media room for filming and photography
  • Steel frame and trusses
  • Operable wall between the GLAs to enable the rooms to be opened up for larger groups
  • Sun screens to all windows
