Alder are coming back to Yatala
Construction is in full swing at Aspire Industrial Park in Yatala with new lot owners commencing building works at the estate.
Alder Constructions successfully delivered the 11 hectare industrial subdivision for development partner, Alder Developments, and have now secured the contract to deliver a new Asphalt Plant for one of the buyers, COLAS, a multi-national company in the construction and maintenance of roads and transport infrastructure. Expanding its operations in Australia, COLAS, purchased 3 lots at Aspire, a combined 17,366sqm in the high impact zoned industrial estate.
Alder Constructions will complete the design and construction of a complete Asphalt facility including:
- Civil and structural design with key design partner, Westera Partners
- Bulk earthworks
- Insitu concrete foundations
- Piling works
- Retaining walls
- building construction of laboratory, amenities and workshop
- Aggregate storage areas
- Precast construction
- Structural steel components
- Gravel and concrete pavements
- Industrial crossovers
- Weighbridges
- Fencing and landscaping.
The final three lots at Aspire Industrial Park are on the market, representing one of the last opportunities to secure land zoned for high impact suited to manufacturing, warehousing, transport and logistics, construction services, food processing, brewery or beverage manufacturing, and distribution centres. NSW based precast concrete supplier, XL Precast has secured 8,159sqm – the second largest lot in the estate and is also ready to kick start construction of two new 2000sqm warehouses as soon as possible.
For Alder Constructions, it is ‘business as usual’, as the team continues to power ahead with a number of significant projects underway across South East Queensland. Alder Constructions has recently been awarded the multi-million dollar Energex Greenslopes office redevelopment, as upgrade works continue at Gold Coast’s Sand Bypass Jetty, and the Beaudesert Water Treatment Plant. Alder has also started construction on a $16 million project at Beenleigh. The York will be the first new commercial office building to be constructed in Beenleigh in the last decade.
Design of the new Asphalt facility is set to commence in April 2020 with construction due for completion early 2021.
