Big win for construction and jobs

Alder Construction is set to commence construction of a flagship project for Energex with the successful award of the Greenslopes Redevelopment Project.

The multi-million dollar redevelopment of the site will see our team deliver a 5000sqm, multi-level office complex plus extensive site improvements, new truck wash bays and streetscape beautification.

The new workspace will be home to more than 200 Energex field, design and project staff from the existing depot and other Brisbane locations.  Once completed the new site will increase light vehicle parking to 130, cater for nearly 80 response vehicles and work seamlessly with the existing 3000sqm warehouse.

Over the course of construction, we will see important job creation and continuation as we begin to actively engage our subcontractors and suppliers, as well as increased trade for local businesses.

Alder Constructions continues to power ahead with a number of significant projects underway across South East Queensland.  We are in the final stages of delivering Energex’s Stafford depot and are set to commence construction of a new Asphalt plant in Yatala.  Alder has also started construction on The York – a $16 million commercial office project in the heart of Beenleigh.

The team will be commencing the multi-million Greenslopes project at the end of May and expect to complete construction works by mid 2021.
