Stormwater, Sewer & Water infrastructure were provided for the 96 units as well as electrical, NBN and internal Intercom services throughout the 23,000m2 site. All connections to existing external council infrastructure were undertaken to provide reliable services for the future residents. Almost 5,000m2 of gravel road pavements with kerbs and asphalt surfacing were constructed.
From project conception to final completion, Alder Constructions worked closely with the Design Consultants and Developer to ensure all available space was maximised whilst complying with Local Government specifications. This balance between design requirements and magnifying positive development results was the main challenge of this project on which the members of the Alder team thrived.
As the River Park site is located directly on the banks of the Coomera River, with direct flow to the Gold Coast Broadwater, the environmental management for this project was of upmost importance to the project team. Comprehensive protection systems were installed and successfully maintained with another major achievement being no environment incidents occurring or community complaints received against the project.
