Project Details

Following on from the success of the Zupps Motor Dealership in Aspley, Alder Constructions worked exclusively with AHG to assist during the design development and approval phases prior to construction works on the greenfield site. This early contractor involvement ensured delivery could be achieved within the tight time frame.

The overall site is approximately 12,000m² in area. The showroom and associated offices and amenities area comprises of 880m² of GFA plus 330m² of mezzanine. The 18 bay workshop, adjacent spare parts area and associated amenities and offices comprises of 1,365m² of GFA plus 415m² of mezzanine.

The end built product has become AHG’s flagship motor dealership, used as a template for future dealerships.

Scope of Works

Significant consideration had gone into the architectural appeal of the building design. The showroom for example includes extensive use of porcelain tiling, incorporation of high set ceilings, LED lighting as well as a massive glass curtain wall.
The 18 bay state of the art and fully equipped workshop.
Over 200 external parking bays are provided in addition to the external showroom display area all with the use of an asphalt pavement design.
Extensive bulk earthworks and civil infrastructure was completed prior to building construction commencing.
