Project Details

The Moreton Bay Cycleway link is a regionally significant cycleway that forms part of the Redland City Council’s Cycleway Trunk Network and the State Government’s Principal Cycle Network.

The works involved for the cycleway at Victoria Point from Cameron Court to School Road (Section 1) and School Road to Pt O’Halloran Drive (Section 2) covering a distance of approximately 1900 metres, included the demolition of existing boardwalk, construction of footpaths, cycleway and raised boardwalks.

Scope of Works

The construction works are being undertaken in a sensitive environmental and conservation area of Moreton Bay. Alder Constructions dedication to environmental, safety and quality standards has ensured diligent compliance to Council’s environmental and cultural heritage requirements.

Our team has collaborated closely with Council and local Indigenous groups to preserve the landscape as much as possible.
