Project Details
This project forms part of the greater North Stradbroke Island’s Walking Trail Network which is a regionally significant walking trail link connecting vantage points between Snapper Street lookouts over Frenchman’s Beach.
This connection is a significant link in the Walking Trail Network and constitutes the first stage linking Snapper Street with the Gorge Walk Trailhead. As a popular thoroughfare for the local community and visitors, staging of works was required to minimise disruption to the community during peak school holiday periods.
Alder Constructions actively engaged the local community in the delivery of this project through local subcontractor engagement and local Indigenous workforce.
