St Hilda’s Foundation
Alder is passionate about advancing women in our industry and promoting construction and engineering as rewarding career paths for the next generation. Sponsoring the St Hilda’s Foundation supports this local school’s endeavour to bring life-changing opportunities to young women, their families and the community. The St Hilda’s Foundation provides the opportunity for young girls to join St Hilda’s who, otherwise, may not have been able to, with Work Grants offering a unique avenue for students to develop their relationships and real-world skills through practical and professional experience. Alder will be a key partner in the Foundation’s Ammonite Work Grants program facilitating work experience opportunities for students interested in a career in engineering and the built environment.
Broadbeach Surf Life Saving Club
Alder’s involvement in Broadbeach Surf Life Saving Club started with Greg Alder and his daughters as Nippers when they were only young. Over the last 20 years, we have delivered various refurbishments and extensions at the Club with the assistance of our valued subcontractors and suppliers to help grow this local club which relies solely on members and the generosity of its partners. We continue to support the Club as major annual sponsor as well as ongoing sponsorship of their Nippers program.
