Project Details

This project was logistically challenging as the work zones were all located adjacent to an open and highly trafficked public thoroughfare and public pool, where access had to be maintained for patrons at all times. The project duration and completion time frame were extremely tight, with night works and dual shifts playing a key role in the delivery of the refurbishment.

Alder Constructions’ worked alongside The Star’s project coordinators at all times ensuring seamless project delivery. This project was delivered concurrently with the Integrated Arrival upgrade, completed by our Civil & Infrastructure team.

Scope of Works

Successful delivery in a live operational environment requiring high level of safety management and coordination of works due to public interface.
Demolition of existing building zones including detailed project survey and identification of existing services.
Installation of all new services including electrical, air conditioning,plumbing, fire protection and audiovisual systems.
Construction of all new amenities facilities for patrons and day-spa treatment facilities and treatment rooms.
Construction of a high standard reception and lobby area with high end feature finishes.
Construction of all new function and meeting rooms and new feature spa to the external events podium area.
Fit out and remodelling of the external events podium areas including themed landscaping and high quality audio-visual.
