Project Details

The Winton Centre at A. B. Paterson College has set a new benchmark in educational learning spaces on the Gold Coast.

The project features high quality finishes and encompasses 4500sq m of learning spaces across three levels, and is located on the eastern side of the school’s hockey oval.

The first floor features a magical rainforest-themed playground, three Pre-Prep classrooms, an Outside School Hours Care facility, a café and film studio.

The upper levels feature a Years 4 to 6 Library, dedicated academic research space for staff, flexible learning spaces, a deck with a view to the three-storey atrium, and a 160-seat multi-purpose lecture theatre.

Equipped with retractable seating, acoustics panels, and a fully sprung floor, the lecture theatre is an incredible location for musical performances, band practice, dance recitals and more.

Designed by Burling Brown Architects, the learning areas are colourful, vibrant and dynamic, with abundant natural light throughout. The building is adorned in the colour palette of the Australian bush, representing A.B. Paterson’s strong heritage.
